The Notaries Society, founded in 1882, is a community of around 900 Notary Publics practicing in England and Wales. Membership is open to all Notaries in England and Wales as well as any Notaries that derive their Faculty from the Court of Faculties. The Notaries Society holds educational and networking events for its members throughout the year.
This year the Notaries Society Annual Conference and President’s Dinner is being held on Thursday 17th September 2015 at the Jarvis Auditorium at RIBA, 66 Portland Place, London, W1B 1AD.
The Notary Public assembly will consider:
- overview of the profession
- Notary Public Regulation and Inspections
- discussion of the shared heritage and future between common law Notaries and civil law Notary Publics
In addition to the annual general meeting, the conference will include Notaries workshops on Powers of Attorney, US documents and incorporating corporate documents in civil law jurisdictions.
The Notaries Annual Conference will be a great opportunity for Notary Publics to get together to discuss the future and development of the profession. Our London Notary Public will be in attendance and will report on our website his experience later in the year.
